Urgent Action Required for Asian Big Cats at CITES CoP19

Parties to the 19th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP19) are reminded of the critical conservation status of Asia’s big cats, the continued demand that is driving poaching and trafficking, the slow progress in implementation of Res. Conf. 12.5 (Rev CoP18) and associated Decisions and the disappointing track record of reporting by some Asian big cat range States and are urged to consider the recommendations in this document.
