EIA’s Intelligence and Investigations Unit works closely with partners globally to share knowledge on intelligence processes and assist in building capacity and skills.
Training on gathering intelligence through covert techniques, intelligence analysis, open-source intelligence (OSINT) research methods and intelligence data management has been provided to government and civil society partners through both in-person and remote courses.
EIA provides both basic and advanced OSINT and social media capacity-building sessions to ensure those at the forefront of tackling wildlife trafficking and environmental crime have the tools and skills required to conduct their work safely and securely.
EIA has also produced films specifically for police, customs and environment officials to facilitate enforcement action and training on wildlife trafficking.
