Cooling the Climate Crisis

This report analyses the climate impact of supermarket refrigeration, revealing that up to 70 per cent of a supermarket’s non-supply chain emissions stem from cooling – primarily from energy consumption and the use of hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants, potent greenhouse gases.

The RSPO’s Rules on Deforestation, Legality and Traceability

In this briefing we examine the extent to which the RSPO standard ensures legality, traceability and deforestation free palm oil. At first glance it may look as if the RSPO standard largely ensures palm oil is deforestation-free, legal and traceable.
