The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) is an international agreement that regulates trade in wild animal and plant species.

The 19th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP19) to CITES will take place from 14-25 November 2022 in Panama City.
At CoP19, Parties to CITES will discuss pressing trade-related conservation issues facing threatened species around the world and EIA campaigners will be in Panama to advocate for protections for some of the world’s most at-risk species.
Explore EIA’s CoP19 resources to learn more about CITES and EIA’s priorities.
