EIA’s London HQ is buzzing with excitement at once again being selected to participate in this year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge.
It’s such a fantastic opportunity for us to raise much-needed funds for the vital work our Cetaceans Campaign will carry out in 2014, which is why I can’t wait to tell you all about it!
The Big Give Christmas Challenge will take place at 10am on December 5, 6 and 7 and what makes this challenge so unique is that it offers you, our supporters, the opportunity to DOUBLE YOUR DONATION to EIA at no extra cost to you. This is an opportunity not to be missed and all you have to do to be a part of it is log on to EIA’s Big Give project page on the dates mentioned and make a donation online.

To further pique your interest, we’ve made a short video about the Big Give, so please take a moment to watch and share it with your friends and family – the more people who take part in the challenge this year, the greater our impact will be in 2014.
If you’d like to take part but are a little worried that it may slip your mind (it is still two weeks away, after all), please get in touch with me and I’ll be more than happy to add you to our reminder list to receive an email or phone call on the morning of the challenge.
You are also invited to join us for an open morning at our office in Islington from 9.30am on Saturday, December 7. This is a great opportunity for you to pop along, introduce yourself to staff and pick the brains of our campaigners over a hot cuppa. With staff on hand to talk you through the process, we will also have donation stations available to make your contribution towards the Big Give Christmas Challenge should you wish to do so. We’ll even throw in a mince pie or two!
The truth is that we could not do all that we do without the help of our loyal supporters. Reaching our target of £20,000 this December will have an enormous impact on the work our committed cetaceans team will be able to undertake in the upcoming year. With your help, it has enjoyed major successes in recent years; now we must continue our hard-hitting programme of work and make 2014 another winner for whales and dolphins.
So we ask that you please consider making a donation this December – every single pound donated will be an invaluable contribution in helping us achieve our goals in 2014!
