Turning intelligence into action
For more than 40 years, our findings have been used in hard-hitting reports to campaign for new legislation and more effective enforcement:
- wildlife protection: we expose transnational organised criminal networks involved in trafficking and push for the closure of domestic ivory markets
- climate action: we work to avert climate catastrophe by investigating the criminal trade in refrigerant gases and tackling climate super-pollutants
- forest conservation: we reveal the negative impacts of cash crops such as palm oil and expose criminal players in the illegal trade of stolen timber
- ocean safeguarding: we address threats to marine wildlife posed by plastic pollution and the commercial exploitation of whales, dolphins and porpoises.
