Help us save elephants, Asian big cats and pangolins from extinction

Every day, some of the world’s most extraordinary and vulnerable animals are being pushed to the brink of extinction. Elephants, tigers, leopards, and pangolins are hunted down, torn from their habitats, and cruelly exploited for profit.

At EIA, we fight tirelessly to stop the illegal wildlife trade—exposing traffickers, working with local partners, pushing governments for stronger protections and driving real, lasting change to protect these magnificent creatures. But we can’t do it alone. Your support is vital to their survival.

Elephants: slaughtered for status

Elephants—gentle, intelligent giants—are being massacred for their ivory, which is carved into luxury ornaments and jewellery. Their skin is ground into powder for use in traditional Chinese medicine. The brutal ivory trade has wiped out 90% of Africa’s elephants, while Asian elephant populations have nearly halved in just a century.

Asian big cats: hunted to the edge of extinction

Tigers, leopards, and snow leopards are brutally killed for their skins, bones, and teeth. Their fur is turned into luxury home décor, their teeth and claws worn as jewellery, and their bones boiled into "health tonics." Today, only 5,574 wild tigers remain on the planet. In countries like Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam, tigers and leopards have become extinct.

Pangolins: the most trafficked mammal on earth

In just 10 years, pangolins could disappear forever. These gentle, shy creatures are poached in staggering numbers—killed for their scales, which are believed to have medicinal properties, and for their meat, considered a delicacy.

They need you to survive

Without urgent action, future generations may only know these species from history books. Every donation helps us investigate wildlife crime, expose traffickers, and fight for stronger protections. Join us in this fight—because extinction is forever.
