Time for a fresh look at our Investigator magazine?
AS well as communicating the findings of our investigations to enforcement agencies and government contacts, a key aspect of EIA’s work throughout the year is to share that information with our supporters and the wider population.
There are a variety of ways we do this, from issuing press releases to both traditional media and online news outlets to regularly updating our social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter) with both our own activities and third-party news stories providing a wider context of the relevant issues within which to place our work.
And if you’re a regular financial supporter of EIA (you can find details here) then you’ll already know that twice a year you receive a hard copy of our magazine Investigator – more than a month before we make it electronically available to everybody else.
We’re justifiably proud of the publication, from its bold front page design through to its round-up of our activities, extra features such as campaigner profiles and news of our supporters’ fundraising activities.
But like all good magazines it needs to stay fresh and relevant and, with EIA’s 30th anniversary just around the corner in 2014, we thought the time was right to contemplate a redesign of some of the interior pages with a view to making Investigator a more interesting and news-packed read.
Which is where you come in!
Before settling on a new look, we’d love to hear what you think of the magazine, such as what works now, what you think could be improved and content you’d like to see in future.
To have your say, email your comments to us at [email protected] – and please start the subject line off with the word ‘Investigator’.
