Madagascar, Lemurs and Spies to screen on the BBC

A documentary showcasing the work of EIA in Madagascar is to screen on BBC2’s Natural World tomorrow (Thursday, March 15) at 8pm.

Pure white lemurs called silky sifaka live in the remote rainforests of Madagascar and are one of the rarest animals in the world.

Sascha Von Bismarck, an investigator based in EIA’s US office, joins forces with a scientist  to pose as a timber buyer and investigate whether there is a link between the endangered lemurs, illegal logging and expensive guitars in the USA.
