Tiger Farming Economics Don’t Add Up

Tiger farming is extremely risky and could have severe consequences for remaining wild tiger populations, according to a recent review by the Environmental Investigation Agency.

The new document, which looks at many of the arguments put forward by supporters of tiger farming, highlights the false assumptions used by pro-trade advocates, and shows that the complexity of the illegal tiger trade makes over-reliance on models unwise.
