Climate change is one of the greatest challenges facing the world. A mere 2°C rise in temperature could place 30 per cent of species at risk of extinction; while shortages of food and water could trigger massive movements of people leading to migration, conflict and famine. We need to take urgent measures to slow down and reduce the extent of the climate crisis.
EIA is working to prevent climate change by protecting forests, campaigning against the use of climate-changing refrigerant gases and ozone depleting substances, and by seeking to end dodgy carbon trading.
